Overview
The Clear Kayak Photoshoot is the single most Instagrammed experience on the Kenyan coast — a transparent kayak on water so clear it looks Photoshopped, styled and shot by a professional photographer while a safety team keeps everything smooth. Our flagship location is Robinson Island off Diani, reached by a short glass-bottom boat transfer with marine life visible below you on the way out. Once you arrive, our team gives a safety briefing, poses you naturally, and captures a 45-minute session in the calmest tide-window of the day. You get 10 professionally edited photos, all your raw shots, a cinematic Instagram reel, and time to snorkel the reef. We also operate on Watamu's shoreline (client-arranged transport) and by early request on Lamu Island's tidal channels. Perfect for couples, honeymooners, birthdays, engagements, brand shoots and anyone who wants photos that don't look like every other beach photo. Sessions are strictly tide-dependent and non-swimmers are welcome — life jackets provided, everyone stays in shallow water. Bookings must be confirmed with a 50% deposit and are subject to weather; the first weather-cancelled slot is rescheduled at no cost. We shoot year-round with the best light January–March and July–October.

Important Information
- Fitness level: easy — non-swimmers welcome, life jackets provided.
- Minimum age: 8 years (accompanied) for Robinson Island; younger children welcome for shore-side photos only.
- Not suitable for guests with severe motion sickness or open wounds.
- Weather & tide policy: first weather-cancelled slot rescheduled at no cost; second reschedule includes a KES 1,100 transfer fee.
- Sessions are strictly 45 minutes — late arrivals lose session time (non-refundable).
Booking, Cancellation & Child Policy
- • Reservations require a signed booking form and deposit.
- • Standard deposit: 30% of the total trip cost (50% during peak seasons Dec–Feb & Jul–Sep).
- • Balance is due 30 days before travel; last-minute bookings (under 30 days) require full payment.
- • Booking is confirmed only once we've issued a written confirmation and receipt.
