Most nationalities apply for the Kenya eTA online at etakenya.go.ke at least 3 days before travel. Passports must be valid for 6+ months. We share the exact steps with every confirmed booking, but we do not process visa applications ourselves.

We accept M-PESA (Paybill on request), Visa & Mastercard, PayPal and direct bank transfers in KES or USD. A 30% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due 30 days before travel.

Unless noted, packages include accommodation, park entry fees, meals as listed on the itinerary, a 4x4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, transfers and a professional English-speaking KATO-registered guide. International flights, visas, tips and personal expenses are typically extra.

July–October offers the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara. January–March is warm, dry and quieter — best for beaches and calving season. April–June is our low-season and best-value window, with lush green landscapes.

Yes — every itinerary is fully bespoke. Change camps, add days, or start from a blank page. That's the point of Mara.

Yes. Kenya has a mature tourism industry with dedicated tourist police units in all major destinations. Our guides are trained in first aid and vehicles carry emergency kits and GPS trackers. We monitor Government of Kenya travel advisories daily and adjust routes if needed.

Absolutely. We recommend family-friendly camps, gentler pacing and shorter drives. Kids under 12 receive discounted rates on most packages and child car seats are available on request.

Yes. From small friend-groups and chamas to full corporate off-sites, team building and school trips, we build and run the whole thing — including invoicing, VAT-compliant receipts and post-trip reports.

Yes. We book hotels, resorts, lodges, villas, Airbnbs and camps across Kenya as standalone bookings — no tour required. We often get better rates than public booking sites.

Our signature experience: a professional photoshoot from transparent kayaks over the calm turquoise lagoons of Diani and Watamu at sunrise. A drone photographer and a safety guide are included, and you keep every edited image.

Cancellations 60+ days before travel are refundable minus a small admin fee. 30–59 days: 50% refund. Under 30 days: non-refundable, but we can move funds to a future trip within 12 months. Full schedule on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page.

We do not sell insurance directly, but we require comprehensive travel insurance for all safaris and adventure activities and can recommend Kenyan providers such as AAR, Jubilee and APA.

Yes. All our guides are KPSGA-certified (Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association) with a minimum of Silver level, plus first-aid trained. Coast guides are additionally licensed by the Kenya Wildlife Service for marine parks.

Kenyan Shilling (KES) is the local currency. USD is widely accepted at lodges (bring bills newer than 2013). ATMs are plentiful in cities and towns; card payment works at most restaurants and hotels but not at rural markets or park gates.

Yellow fever is required if arriving from a yellow-fever endemic country. Anti-malaria prophylaxis is recommended for most safari areas outside Nairobi. Consult a travel-medicine clinic 4–6 weeks before departure.
